They liked

Benoît Cantalloube (5/5): “A true story, scripted in a moving but modest way, a very fair interpretation of the stars as child-apprentice actors, it makes for a magnificent film from which we emerge a little shaky and with moist eyes… Thank you gentlemen for this very, very beautiful film!

Simon R (5/5): “I had heard about this story in the media, but I didn’t expect a biopic with so much emotion! Mathieu Kassovitz has rarely been so formidable, and we come away from this film with tears in our eyes. Gorgeous !

Alice L (4/5): “This film is moving, the story of these two brothers is incredible and touching. Lots of emotions and beautiful images. The child actors are fantastic, as much as the Attal/Kassovitz duo who play very well..”

They liked it less or didn’t like it

Alain M (1/5): “If you like films where nothing happens, go see this film! In the forest, the two children grow up without any problem (it lasts five minutes but now it lasts half the film). And in the cabin in Canada, the two adults think a lot… about their previous life in the forest! And that’s all ! Very boring movie.

Boulanger_bernard (2/5): “Lots of inconsistencies and too many repetitions in the flashbacks. Good moments, but for me it’s not that.

Brothers is currently in theaters.
