Suzanne Le Maguer was born on January 6, 1925 in Brélévenez. This three-digit anniversary deserved a little celebration. Around her at her home on the road to Beg Léguer, her sister and her daughter were present as well as Paul Le Bihan, mayor of Lannion.
If the age reached by Suzanne is rare, it is not exceptional. On the other hand the health she displays is remarkable. Still able to get around her home, she also has a good memory and expresses herself without difficulty.
In the Paris region
Like many people of her generation, Suzanne Le Maguer left Trégor for the Paris region.
At 21, she found a job in a telephone factory. At the end of his career, return to Lannion and Beg Léguer in 1980. A pre-retirement then a retirement which still lasts, 45 years later!
Sometimes Suzanne temporarily leaves for the Sainte-Anne Park residence, which relieves Colette, her only daughter, who lives with her mother.
Longevity secrets
“I walked every day and went around the neighborhood,” explains the centenarian. A real antidote against the wear and tear of time. Suzanne Le Maguer always puts one foot in front of the other, even if she now uses a walker.
