This Friday, January 17, 2025, Clara Chappaz, Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, will travel to Meurthe-et-Moselle for a visit focused on the advances and challenges of AI. She will start her day at LORIA, where she will discover the IA ENACT cluster, a research and innovation center presented by Emmanuel Vincent, scientific coordinator at INRIA. A demonstration on the use of generative AI in robotics is also planned.
Continuing her visit, the minister will meet representatives of start-ups specializing in artificial intelligence to discuss their projects and the economic prospects offered by this technology. These discussions will highlight local initiatives and the challenges of developing AI in France.
Finally, Clara Chappaz will participate in a debate with citizens at the Fabrique des Possibles. This moment of exchange will address the societal impacts of AI, exploring the opportunities and challenges it poses for the population. This trip illustrates the government's commitment to dialogue with sector players and civil society to better supervise and promote AI.
