Hervé Poncharal's Tech3 team begins an exciting new era with the arrival of Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales. These two world-renowned riders join the ranks of the KTM satellite team, which aims to return to the heights of MotoGP.
The team Tech3 KTM heads into the 2025 MotoGP season with a breath of fresh air. Under the direction ofHervé Poncharalthe team adopts a new look and integrates two first-rate drivers: Enea Bastianini et Maverick Viñales. This project marks an even closer rapprochement with
KTMconsolidating their partnership to aim for the heights.
After two seasons under the colors of GASGAS,
Tech3 officially becomes an extension of
KTM Factory Racing. During the first
testing in Barcelonathe RC16 of
Bastianini et Vinales displayed a black livery, symbolizing their phase of development, while the presence of Red Bull as a flagship partner remained obvious.
Despite an accident involving Bastianini during these tests, Hervé Poncharal was optimistic: “
these were very exciting times. This first contact with the new machine is extremely important for the pilots.
We saw a certain relaxation among them, and that reassured us. »
Vinalesnow freed from his obligations with Apriliaet Bastianiniwhich arrives from the factory Ducati bring their experience and talent to Tech3.
