The final chapter of the 2024 MotoGP season has arrived, with the Solidarity Grand Prix in Barcelona. Jorge Martín or Francesco Bagnaia, one of these two men will become World Champion. The two Ducati riders are separated by 19 points. With a ninth place, Martín would secure the title regardless of Bagnaia's result. This is the third year in a row that the title has come down to the last race.
The reigning double world champion will have to count on a bad race from his opponent and the presence of several other drivers behind him if he were to win, to maintain his chances of being titled. If he does not succeed, Jorge Martín will take the number 1 with him to Aprilia, where he will compete in the 2025 MotoGP season, while Francesco Bagnaia will remain in the Ducati factory team, where he will welcome Marc Márquez.
