MotoGP has seen different eras in terms of bikes and riders, as well as relationships between them and some rivalries reaching truly stratospheric proportions, and Jorge Lorenzo is of the opinion that this 'conflict' between riders is necessary.
For the former rider and multiple world champion, the current situation is very different from what was observed before, as the Spaniard explains to GPOne, quoted by Motosan saying: 'In today's MotoGP, they are all brothers.‘
And this friendly way of treating each other is something he says isn't in line with what fans of the category would like to see: 'The fans want rivalry, that is to say two drivers who hate each other sportingly.'
Lorenzo also added that aerodynamic appendages take away some of the spectacle, which goes against what Casey Stoner, among others, has been championing of late: 'If motorcycles had more wheels and less aerodynamics, there would be even more of a spectacle.'
