Street: Italjet Dragster 700 Twin, by far the most monstrous MotoGP scooter on the market, is revealed in Milan!

Italjet is riding the MotoGP wave and, after producing a Dragster in the colors of the Gresini team, the Bologna firm announced this summer the start of construction on a monstrous 700 equipped with all the appendages of a real MotoGP.

Presented at EICMA this week in its limited edition version of 700 copies, the least we can say is that the beast is even more impressive than in son teaserclad in fins in every direction, with equipment that is nothing to be ashamed of in a paddock, and with all the ingredients which, without a doubt, will attract all eyes, on café terraces and elsewhere. The Italjet Dragster 700 is therefore a bit to the scooter what the Diavel is to the motorcycle, but much more aggressive.

Unveiled in Milan also in a stripped version (in fact only without the saddle), the monster has hidden nothing of its tubular innards surrounding the twin-cylinder of 68 horsepower at 8500 rpm propelling the machine to 190 km/h by the through a 6-speed gearbox.

Make no mistake, the Italjet Dragster 700 ultimately does not want to integrate into the maxi-scooter market, as Gilera and Aprilai did with the GP 800 in its time: it wants to create its own own niche, much more restricted, and fully embraces it. It's difficult to go and get your baguette with him, but we wouldn't go with a MotoGP either!

We like it or we don't like it, but no one will remain indifferent, and that is undoubtedly the point of this very exclusive operation, since only 700 units will be produced with the black and gold LIMITED EDITION livery as well as the Öhlins and Brembo elements. and Akrapovic selected. The price of the (relative) exclusivity is set at €14,900 for Europe, but a basic version is announced for later at around 12,900 euros.

Can you still buy an Italjet Dragster 700?

If the success was undeniable and the machine attracted all eyes at EICMA, a visit to the pre-order site a priori something to cool anyone who would think of buying one to put in their living room in the hope of getting a good deal on resale a few months later…

Indeed, despite the undeniable attractiveness of this scooter, only half of the planned production seems to have been pre-ordered for the moment. To be continued, but only the real enthusiasts of this machine seem to be there, already impatient to show off their Italjet Dragster 700 in spring/summer 2025. Making people dream is never a bad thing, in whatever field it may be. , so when it has a MotoGP connotation…
