Gresini's new MotoGP™ project has finally been revealed! Unsurprisingly, Alex Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) and Fermín Aldeguer (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) shined today on the Imola international circuit on the occasion of the presentation of Gresini version 2025. A younger team and a pastel blue, now combined with a new chrome shade, are the main novelties of the year, during which Gresini Racing intends to continue fighting at the forefront.
This presentation was an opportunity to remember Fausto and complete a few laps on the Imola circuit, but also to appreciate the Gresini Racing history museum as well as a cinema-themed tunnel, as a souvenir of recent years. It was a journey between the team's distant and modern past to present a future as promising as this year's Desmosedici GP24s.
Alex Márquez : “I'm starting my third consecutive season with the team and I have to admit that it's been a very long winter. The year has ended on a high note and it's almost time to get back into action. The new colors look great and I hope everyone likes them. We would like them to be accompanied by great results and, for my part, I did everything possible during the off-season to be as best prepared physically and mentally for 2025.”
Fermin Aldeguer: “This is a first for me on many levels, and my first team presentation as a MotoGP™ rider. The new livery of the bike is fantastic and very aggressive, and I think it reflects the spirit of this team which, over many years, has proven to be a real institution. I really want to take to the track, and this presentation is already a big step towards this 2025 season.”
Nadia Padovani, owner of the Gresini Racing team: “We leave behind us an excellent 2024 season and approach with enormous motivation a year 2025 for which expectations remain high. We have an experienced team, two very talented drivers, and we look forward to continuing to surprise as we have been doing since 2022… Fermín has just arrived but he has already found a place in our hearts. As for Alex, I believe he can and should fight for the top 5 every race weekend. We are very happy with this new project and this bike, which has a special touch with chrome everywhere.
