It was an unusual mishap that happened to this restaurateur from the North of France. A man in his forties forgot to pay for the 17 takeaway meals he had ordered at the Argan restaurant in Marcq-en-Baroeul, according to information from The Voice of the North.
The manager of the establishment shared his story on Facebook. “We would like to believe that this is an oversight on his part“, he writes. He calls on the individual to come and pay for his order in the amount of 170 euros.
“He also wanted desserts, but by the time he prepared them, this gentleman had left to put the dishes in his car: he never came back to get the desserts or pay for his order”shares the manager, dismayed by the incident.
The boss threatens to file a complaint
“Please note that our restaurant and the street are under video surveillance. We have already taken the number plate of your vehicle“, he indicates. The manager has all the evidence required to file a complaint.
Under his publication, the manager of the establishment received dozens of messages of support and even saw new customers arriving.
