This Austrian-style happening bounces off two other entities and therefore two other stories, we interweave happily realizing that the final solution will necessarily be a compromise… Clearly to restart the company needs cash. Just today, three investors reportedly offered to contribute $700 million. Including the main shareholder, the Indian Bajaj (pronounced Badjaïdge it seems) which feels the very big blow because the stock market value of KTM having fallen like lightning, there is a possibility of getting their hands on the company to finally cheap…. Because the principle is there, who pays takes…. And Pierer would no longer be in the majority at home! In the recommendations of the assembly today, coincidentally, a significant increase in production in India was mentioned. No Chinese on the horizon, at the moment the Middle Kingdom…. is a little to the west (woof!). And then there is a line on possible savings in total. There we enter absolute Jesuitism. KTM offers, read it as it is, exit MotoGP Moto2/Moto3. We know that MotoGP is both a displacement but also the generic term for a discipline. It is therefore important to understand that KTM is proposing to reduce the size in the MotoGP discipline but only in Moto2 and Moto3. If MotoGP engine capacity was also threatened, we would have written like this MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 ! And yes so many millions more or less for just a little slash! That said, what is absurd is that in Moto3, KTM makes money because half of the field rides Austrian but, with the exception of the official team, the bikes are sold to the teams… The reduction would therefore only concern official motorcycles. Once again these are not decisions, the next meeting will take place on January 24, Pierer sold a personal box, which brought in thirty million which will pay the staff… We are moving forward. But the GPs start at the end of February! We continue to think that the KTM riders will ride in MotoGP but not necessarily with a lot of new features on the bikes… The second act arrives, Dorna…
