Aleix Espargaró has found his reconversion. Recently retired from MotoGP, the 35-year-old Spaniard has officially signed up with World Tour-level Cycling team Lidl-Trek. Espargaró has been cycling at a high level for many years and trains alongside professional riders back home in Andorra. “ After a back injury forced me to give up running, I turned to cycling to recover and train, says the person concerned. Via his role as ambassador, the Catalan will join the team on some prestigious events on the calendar, but it is not clear if the Spaniard will actually participate in certain races.
