Dani Pedrosa will continue the adventure with KTM in 2025. The Austrian manufacturer has been linked to the rider since 2019, when he retired from full-time circuits in the world championship. The Spaniard will therefore take part in a seventh season with the brand. He will thus continue to contribute to the development of the KTM RC16.

A role that will allow him to make new appearances as Wildcard. The latter are generally always successful. KTM Motorsports director Pit Beirer is delighted with the signing as his team attempts to get back into racing, after a slight step back from Ducati in 2024.

“It was a simple decision for both parties. It is the sign of a good relationship and solid trust, confides the latter. We really believe in what Dani brings to our MotoGP program on different levels. Not just on the track.

For the next generation of KTM RC16, this contribution is vital, he continues. We know the turnaround we seek will come and with Dani on the team, it will only come faster. »

During his years working with the brand, Dani Pedrosa completed a total of four Grand Prix weekends. The latest, which was also the only one in which he took part this season, dates back to the Spanish Grand Prix.

New successful appearances for Dani Pedrosa?

He then scored a podium finish during a completely crazy Sprint race on a still wet track. This third place allowed him to gain seven points to unlock his counter.

In 2025, Dani Pedrosa will have the opportunity to work more closely with Pedro Acosta, who joins Brad Binder on the KTM factory team.

He will also have the opportunity to work with data from riders from different factories, since Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati), will leave their current teams to join the brand's satellite training, Tech3.
