“We are already ridiculous on the track…” Quartararo destroys his team after the Japanese GP

Only 12th in the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday on the Motegi circuit, the French driver Fabio Quartararo, angry, tackled his team, Yamaha, after another fuel shortage.

A season to forget for Fabio Quartararo. The Niçois once again showed his limits on Sunday during the Japanese Grand Prix, won by the Italian Francesco Bagnaia. The Yamaha rider finished in 12th place, just behind his compatriot Johann Zarco. The latter overtook El Diablo during the last lap taking advantage of a Yamaha idling due to a lack of fuel.

A tile that infuriated Fabio Quartararo: “We ran out of fuel again. We’re already ridiculous on the track, if on top of that we’re ridiculous with running out of fuel… I don’t know what we are doing in this aspect but it is unacceptable to finish twice without fuel in three races”, whispered the Niçois after the race at the microphone of Canal+.

“We will have to have explanations because this is unacceptable”

Not kind to his team, the 2021 world champion does not understand his team’s choices: “I don’t think that by putting a slightly different “map” it will help us gain much. Looking at the position that “We had this weekend, I don’t think we should play with the limit so much. We’re going to have to have explanations because it’s unacceptable.” After 16 rounds of the MotoGP world championship (out of 20), Fabio Quartararo occupies 13th place in the rider standings. Next Grand Prix in two weeks in Australia.
