Amidst a swirl of controversy, Kylian Mbappé has made his way to Corsica following his trip to Sweden. To avoid the prying eyes, the Frenchman has employed a rather unique approach.
While jaunts to remote locations during breaks are part and parcel of a footballer’s routine, Mbappé’s escapade has turned sour, landing him at the center of criticism back in France. The Real Madrid star has recently withdrawn from the October national team gathering to “rest” but was spotted partying at a nightclub in Sweden. In what seems like a response to the backlash, Kylian Mbappé shared a photo from the gym this Saturday.
As revealed, Mbappé is currently in Ajaccio. Corsica Matin disclosed on October 12 the behind-the-scenes of the global star’s stay on the Isle of Beauty. Accompanied by his bodyguard and another individual, the Blues’ star dined at an inn, even going through the kitchens to avoid detection.
Although Mbappé managed to dodge the photographers this time, he was eventually spotted. After dining in a secluded area of the restaurant, the former PSG man left the inn only after all the other patrons had departed. Kylian Mbappé is set to resume training with Real Madrid at the end of the weekend, with the upcoming weeks proving crucial for the French genius.
