This is the sad news of this Friday, October 4: the disappearance, the day before, of Michel Blanc. The 72-year-old actor caused the astonishment of his friends in the Splendid troupe, starting with Gérard Jugnot, upset to learn of the sudden disappearance of his great sidekick. BFMTV gave details of what killed the actor and it seems that anaphylactic shock was the cause, followed by a fatal heart attack.
As our colleagues explain, Michel Blanc had a rare and very serious allergic reaction similar to angioedema. The latter causes rapid swelling of the skin and mucous membranes in the head and neck. For now, it is indicated that the actor was injected with a contrast product during a medical examination. It is this famous medication used in particular during MRIs that the star would have had a significant allergy on Thursday afternoon. Upon realizing his condition, the doctor who was caring for him immediately contacted emergency services, who unfortunately arrived too late. According to BFMTV, the friend of Thierry Lhermitte and Josiane Balasko was already in cardiac arrest, breathing his last at 11 p.m.

After the painful reaction of Gérard Jugnot in his Instagram story, wondering how his friend could have abandoned him without warning, it was the mother of Marilou Berry, bruised, who posted a photo of her friend on the social network. Because a few strong words are worth more than a big statement, the actress wrote, with a heavy heart: “Michel, my friend, my brother, my partner.” In the comments, fans of the emblematic figure of Splendid also shared their emotion at learning such news. “Given the sadness we feel, I imagine the pain you are in this morning…”, wrote a subscriber, while another Internet user paid tribute to the man who had become, over the course of his roles, “a full member of all French families”.
