Hakimi one of the “leaders” of PSG, confident against Arsenal

Achraf Hakimi, right back of Saint-Germain, expressed his great confidence in his team before the match against Arsenal, this Tuesday, October 1, in the Champions League.

During the press conference preceding the meeting between PSG and Arsenal, the Atlas Lion stressed that his club attracts great attention around the world, adding that no team wants to face PSG.

Hakimi admitted the match against Arsenal would be difficult, but claimed Paris Saint-Germain traveled to London aiming to come away with all three points.

“We continue the momentum of last season, the team improves with each match, and the cohesion between the players as well as in the team is extremely strong“, he declared to journalists

Former Real Madrid man believes Arsenal are a formidable team “On set pieces, that’s one of their strengths, and we’re focusing on how to counter them.”

“I have a lot of confidence and I do my best in every match. The coach (Luis Enrique) gives me a lot of freedom on the pitch to give my best performance. We will try to show our personality against Arsenal, because our strength lies in the collective”he added.

The Moroccan international affirms that he plays a vital role in Luis Enrique’s squad who has entrusted him with numerous responsibilities this season, notably the role of vice-captain.

“I am one of the leaders of PSG and one of the most experienced players. I take on an important role, both on and off the field, and I gladly accept all these responsibilities”he concluded.
