The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that thunderstorms (30-90 mm) accompanied by hail and gusts of wind are expected today, Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday, in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in a warning bulletin at the “red” alert level, that these thunderstorms (70-90 mm) are expected in the Figuig region, starting from 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday until 3:00 a.m. on Thursday.
In an “orange” alert level, the General Directorate of Meteorology indicated that the same weather phenomenon will affect the prefectures and provinces of Jerada, Boulemane, Midelt and Errachidia (50-70 mm), as well as Oujda-Angad and Taourirt (30-50 mm), on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
