Algeria Foot – The management of the Mouloudia club of Algiers is about to finalize the recruitment of Algerian international Andy Delort, who has been without a club since his departure from Umm Salal in Qatar last February.
This potential acquisition has become a priority for the Mouloudia coach, Patrice Amir Beaumellewho is keen to strengthen his team with Delort’s experience and skills.
However, a major obstacle stands in the way of Mouloudia: a sum of 2 million euros that the club must pay Umm Salal to permanently release Delort. This amount represents a significant financial challenge for the Algiers club, but discussions are continuing to find an agreement acceptable to all parties.

Furthermore, a clue suggesting that the negotiations are well advanced appeared last Saturday, when Delort began following the official account of Mouloudia d’Alger on Instagram. This gesture was seen as a tacit confirmation of the ongoing discussions and a preliminary agreement between the Fennecs striker and the club from the Algerian capital.
If this transfer goes through, it will mark a significant return for Delort to Algerian football, providing Mouloudia with a formidable offensive weapon for future competitions.
