Back To Hogwarts Day is almost upon us.

For those who aren’t well versed in the goings-on of the Harry Potter calendar, Back To Hogwarts Day is celebrated every year on 1 September in reference to the day that Harry and his pals would, you guessed it, catch the train back to Hogwarts.

Now, it’s often used as a day to announce upcoming Harry Potter projects.

It was during last year’s event that Avalanche Software developers revealed that Hogwarts Legacy would be getting its first major update.

It’s a shame that that update was, first of all, horrendously disappointing, and secondly, still half a year away from launch.

Let’s hope this year offers something a tad more juicy.

As a precursor to the event though, Harry Potter fans do have something to dig their teeth into.

With its lack of updates, I’m imagining you’ve grown tired of Hogwarts Legacy by now.

Thankfully, the launch of Harry Potter Quidditch Champions is just around the corner, and it’s coming to PlayStation Plus as a day one release.

Take a look at Harry Potter Quidditch Champions in action below.

On 3 September, all PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to nab Harry Potter Quidditch Champions totally for free.

Not a subscriber? The game will set you back £24.99 for a standard edition, or £34.99 for the deluxe edition.

That being said, a number of UK based retailers currently have discounts on the deluxe edition, so they may well be worth checking out.

For PlayStation Plus subscribers though, you don’t need to part with a single penny.

Needless to say, the Harry Potter and Hogwarts Legacy fandoms are pretty hyped about that fact.

“Can’t wait to have a lot of fun with this,” Reddit user ShaneTVZ remarked, while Fenrir79 added, “Wait, is that the new game? Holy hell, that’s cool.”

One comment simply read, “LET’S GOOOOOOO,” and you can do just that on 3 September.
