Maryam Al-Khasht appeared in a delicate wedding dress. At first, she raised her hair up with a long chiffon veil, then she changed her hairstyle and took off the veil to feel more comfortable with movement.
The marriage contract was witnessed by the media personality Sherif Nour El-Din, who has a strong friendship with Maryam El-Khasht and her husband.
Maryam Al-Khasht appeared in videos from the wedding ceremony, dancing with sashas to the song “Kajoloh” by Mohamed Henedy from the movie “My Saeedi in the American University.”
Maryam Al-Khasht’s husband is Ahmed Abaza, a young man from outside the artistic community. He is 38 years old, and they have been friends for years.
Maryam Al-Khasht and her father, Imad Al-Khasht, revealed the scenes of the engagement, during their meeting with the artist, Isaad Younis, on the “Her Excellency” program broadcast on the DMC channel.
Maryam Al-Khasht’s father explained that she did not tell him directly about the presence of a young man in her life, saying: “She and her mother and I were having lunch in a place, and before we got into the car, I asked her something, and she laughed and said something.”
He added: “I asked her, ‘What do you feel about him? She is happy. Who is he? I had heard the name before from her friends.'”
He continued: “When she said the name, I knew that they were good, respectable people and a nice family, and I told her I wanted to see him today, because I didn’t want him to arrange himself, and I found him to be a nice young man, but the first time I saw him, I spent a very long time and I didn’t know where to greet him.”
Maryam Al-Khasht commented, saying: “The nice thing is that they said we would meet first for an introduction session, and suddenly I found them saying that we will recite Al-Fatihah, and we do not understand anything.”
