The week will start off with favourable weather conditions in Latvia. On Monday and Tuesday there will be clouds in the sky at times, but the sun will still shine during the day. Weather will remain generally dry, as reported by Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
With slow wind speed, fog will form in certain regions at night. At night, air temperature will drop to -1° C… +4° C (+5° C… +9° C along the coast and in Latgale). Daytime air temperature will reach +9° C… +14° C.
In the middle of the week, atmospheric pressure will gradually go down. Weather will be dictated by cyclone activity.
Meteorologists say that there will be more clouds in the sky. Rainfall will come as well. On Wednesday night, rain will be observed mainly in western parts of the country. During the day, however, rain will be observed in all of Latvia. Wind speed will go up, reaching 15-18 m/sec. Warmer masses of air will flow to the country, causing minimal air temperature at night to +6° C… +12° C and daytime air temperature to +13° C… +18° C.
Volatile weather conditions are expected in the second half of the week – it will rain in certain areas and on some days. Nevertheless, the sky will clear up and allow the sun to shine. The wind will be slow to moderate in speed. At times, the wind will be strong. Daytime air temperature will reach +14° C… +19° C.
