Israel monitored the launching of more than 100 missiles from southern Lebanon today, Saturday, as Israeli raids continued on southern and eastern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, at a time when the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that 25 people were killed by Israeli targets yesterday, Friday.

Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that more than 135 missiles had been launched from southern Lebanon towards various locations in northern Israel since this morning.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it targeted the “ATA” Military Industries Company near Sakhnin, northern Israel, with a missile barrage, and bombed the Maale Golani Barracks and gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers in the Katzrin colony.

In the morning, the party said that it bombed the city of Safed and the Karmiel settlement with missile salvos, and also bombed the Sa`sa settlement with two “Falaq 2” missiles, and gatherings of Israeli soldiers in Khallet Abeer in Yaron, Kfaryouval and Kfar Giladi.

He added that his fighters clashed with an Israeli infantry force as it attempted to advance towards the vicinity of the Al-Adisa municipality building in southern Lebanon.

Continuous raids

Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that Israeli aircraft raided the towns of Khiam, Al-Adisa, Kafr Kila, Maroun Al-Ras, Maarakeh, Al-Zarriya, Tibnin, and Naqoura in southern Lebanon.

For its part, the Lebanese News Agency said that the Israeli raids targeted an area near the Rashidieh Palestinian refugee camp, south of Tyre.

It confirmed that 4 people were killed and another injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the town of Joya in the Tyre district, noting that Israeli aircraft raided a house in the town of Qana in Tyre, without causing casualties.

She added that an Israeli drone bombed a prayer hall adjacent to Salah Ghandour Hospital in the city of Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, with a guided missile, causing damage.

She added that an Israeli drone carried out an air strike targeting a house in the eastern town of Zawtar in the south of the country, killing 3 people, noting that another person was killed by targeting a motorcycle in Majdal Salam in Nabatieh.

It also said that Israeli aircraft raided areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

High numbers of casualties

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that the number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon since October 8, 2023 has risen to 2,036 dead and 9,653 wounded.

She explained that the Israeli raids that targeted various areas of the country yesterday, Friday, killed 25 people and injured 127 others.

In eastern Lebanon, the death toll from the Israeli attacks on Baalbek-Hermel and the central Bekaa regions reached 282 dead and 777 wounded, as a result of 704 Israeli raids, according to the Lebanese News Agency.

In recent days, the Israeli army has been focusing its bombing on homes and deliberately committing massacres against their safe residents, in addition to destroying buildings adjacent to international and main roads with the aim of cutting off and impeding communication between towns, according to the Lebanese News Agency.

Since last September 23, Israel has launched the most violent and widespread attack on Lebanon since the beginning of the confrontations with Hezbollah on October 8, 2023, resulting in hundreds of casualties, including dead and wounded, as well as the displacement of hundreds of thousands, some of whom cannot find shelter.
