Barcelona winger Raphinha assured that the Catalan side had to “give a quick reaction” after the recent defeats against Monaco and Osasunaand celebrated the team’s 5-0 victory over Young Boys of Switzerland in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“We knew that after the Monaco game we had to give a quick reaction and we have done very well. Three days ago we also lost in La Liga and we knew we had to react very quickly. I’m glad to come away with a good win,” the Brazilian player assured in statements to ‘Movistar+’.
Raphinha, scorer of a goal and an assist, explained that his good performance this season is explained, above all, by the change of position up front.
“The last two seasons, I played more on the right wing, and now what has changed more is the positionbecause the desire to play well and help has always been the same,” he commented.
Raphinha highlighted that the team “presses very well up front” and stressed that “physically all the players are very well”, also the substitutes, who “when they come on, they help a lot”.
“You have to always run, whether we are winning or losingyou have to give everything for the team. With the new format it is important to score a lot of goals,” added one of Barca’s captains.
