In an age where technology dominates, the decline in physical activity has led even young people to develop serious illnesses. However, many people maintain their health by engaging in activities such as jogging, cycling or swimming every morning. But among these three, which one is the best and has the most impact? Here's what fitness trainers reveal.

In an interview, trainer Manpreet Kaur said that “many people suffer from various minor and major illnesses due to their sedentary and busy lifestyle. These diseases include obesity, fatty liver, joint pain, as well as heart and lung diseases. To prevent or alleviate these problems, physical exercise is essential. Jogging, cycling or swimming are all effective options.”

She also clarified that cycling is a low-impact exercise, making it suitable for all ages. It contributes to the prevention of many diseases and should ideally be practiced over a distance of 5 to 6 kilometers per day. Cycling strengthens muscles, bones and tendons while burning unnecessary calories and fat.

This activity can also relieve conditions such as heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, hypertension, depression, stress, Alzheimer's disease and belly fat. Studies show that cycling is particularly beneficial for recovery during or after cancer treatment.

Regarding swimming, Kaur said: “Swimming is great for physical and mental health. When swimming, the pressure of the water is evenly distributed across the body, acting as a form of therapy. This helps burn calories quickly, regulate weight and strengthen the cardiovascular system, heart and lungs. It also relieves respiratory problems and conditions such as asthma, insomnia, mental stress, joint pain and muscle stiffness. Swimming also strengthens body flexibility. Swimming for 30 to 60 minutes a day improves overall health and protects against serious illnesses.

She added that swimming is safe and very beneficial during pregnancy or for people with disabilities, making it one of the most complete exercises.
