“Gold Star of Vietnam 2024”: 200 companies in the spotlight

Two hundred exemplary companies were awarded, on the evening of December 24 in Hanoi, the “Gold Star of Vietnam 2024”, during a ceremony marking the 21e anniversary of this award.

The “Vietnam Gold Star 2024” award was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Businessmen Association.

During the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyên Hoa Binh highlighted the important contributions of businesses to achieving socio-economic development goals. To support Vietnam's growth, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyên Hoa Binh called on businesses to remain proactive, adapt to fluctuations in the global market and constantly innovate.

They are invited to innovate in their products and services, invest in fundamental and applied research, adopt intelligent management tools, develop efficient e-commerce platforms and adapt to rapid market developments.

Entrepreneurs must aim for sustainable development, apply green business models and a circular economy, thus helping to minimize negative impacts on the environment…, underlined Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyên Hoa Binh.

The 200 distinguished companies achieved a total turnover of more than 799,000 billion dong, including more than 65,000 billion paid to the state budget. They also created more than 405,000 jobs.

The TOP 10 includes leading companies such as the FPT group, the Phú Nhuân Jewelry Company (PNJ), the Investment and Development Bank (BIDV), the General Maritime Company of Vietnam (VIMC), the Tân A Dai Thanh, the global chemical distributor Stavian Chemical, KIDO Group, Khan Dien Joint Stock Company, Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) and Joint Stock Company Traphaco.

The “Vietnam Gold Star” award is awarded annually to exemplary commercial brands capable of establishing themselves internationally. The objective is to stimulate innovation and adaptation of companies so that they can compete on the international stage and benefit from globalization.
