The return of Patricia Mirallès
Occitania had no not been represented between September and December 2024under the leadership of Michel Barnier. By setting his sights on Patricia Miralles to occupy the position of Minister Delegate in charge of Memory and Veterans, the tenant of Matignon returned a “siege” to the region.
Originally from Montpellier, the former deputy for the 1st constituency of Hérault (2017-2022) had already held the position between July 2022 and September 2024. Furthermore, the wife of 57 ans was also a Hérault departmental councilor (2015-2017) and has been a municipal councilor of Montpellier since spring 2014.
The end of regrets?
When she had been forced to pass the torch during the arrival of Michel Barnier as head of government, Patricia Mirallès declared to our colleagues at Midi Libre that she felt regret because she had not been able to go further in cases initiated by him.
