Norwegian competitor Alexander Steen Olsen finished in third position, just 88 hundredths of a second behind the leader. As for the Frenchman Léo Anguenot, aged 26, the surprise was big. After starting from ninth place after the first round, he entertained hopes of securing victory, before capping his performance with his first ever World Cup podium finish. Previously, his best career result was a thirteenth place, obtained in March 2023 during the event which took place in Aspen, United States.
