Departmental councilor Valérie Gonzo-Massol was elected departmental president of the UDI. She will lead the federation with regional advisor Catherine Pacoret at her side. The executive office is now made up of seven members, with representatives from four of the six constituencies of Haute-Savoie.
The UDI of Haute-Savoie intends to “prepare future elections, train its activists and, above all, rebuild a strong center thanks to the help of all people of good will” writes, in a press release, the party which claims to have values “ anchored in the history of Haute-Savoie which are those of Christian democracy”. On the national level, the UDI is chaired by Senator Hervé Marseille, head of the centrist Union group in the Senate.
