A conditional security clearance

Last July, Mr. Mujahid’s company received a conditional safety rating from the Commission des transports du Québec (CTQ).

The company was called for a hearing following various offenses occurring between July 2021 and July 2023.

Mechanical defects linked to heavy vehicles and shortcomings in vehicle loading were raised by the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec.

The latter uses a scoring system to detail its observations before the Commission. Hussain Mujahid’s company then had exceeded the number of points not to be reachedis it written in the report of the CTQ.

In addition to changing the status of the company, the CTQ issued a series of orders, notably concerning the training of drivers and managers in matters of safety.

To regain a satisfactory safety rating, the company must request it from the Commission and be called for a hearing to demonstrate that improvements have been made.

Questioned on this subject, Mr. Mujahid assured that this was the only open file of his company before the CTQ.
