The events occurred around 8:30 a.m. this Wednesday, December 18. In circumstances which remain to be clarified, a motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident, which occurred at the Vazzio power station, in Ajaccio.
The motorcycle was the only one involved in the accident, confirms the Corsica-du-Sud fire and rescue service. Taken to the scene as an absolute emergency by emergency services, and transported to the Ajaccio hospital center, the driver of the vehicle, a man aged around forty, died in the morning.
An ambulance, a road emergency vehicle, a command vehicle, as well as the SAMU and the police were mobilized for this intervention.
