In this article, I will share two NHL picks with you. Let’s get started with today’s hockey predictions!
CHOICE 1: the “moneyline” of Canadians
First of all, I would like to present a choice on the Buffalo-Montreal match. In this case, we have two really struggling teams here. Who will win?
On one hand, you have the Sabers going through a terrible 10-game losing streak. Certainly, they faced very good teams along the way, but losing 10 in a row remains unacceptable.
Meanwhile, the Canadiens have dropped three of their last four games, which includes an embarrassing 9-2 home loss to Pittsburgh. In that matchup, they were booed profusely when they allowed six goals in the third period alone.

The Jackets had a great streak during which they won five out of six games, but they have collapsed heavily since December 3. Indeed, they have since presented a record of 1-7. Misery !
Worse, Columbus will play a third game in four evenings. Meanwhile, Tampa players will have enjoyed two full days of rest.
The revenge factor also comes into play. I’m sure the Tampa players remember their last meeting against Columbus very well. On November 21, the Lightning took a 3-0 lead only to lose 7-6 in overtime. Revenge will certainly be on their minds.
Here’s the icing on the sundae: the Blue Jackets have lost each of their last seven games in Tampa. Clearly, they are not comfortable playing there and I firmly believe that the streak will extend to eight.
