Fun activities at the Boucle d’Or farm

Actions continue at the Boucle d’or farm, the young shelter association for farm animals. Fabienne, the president, works hard and develops the activity thanks to the support of members and donations from local traders, in fruit, vegetables and unsold bread so that her protégés can have happy days there. Indeed, with a small history, the structure does not yet receive subsidies. However, Fabienne is passionate and she wants to share her interest in animals with as many people as possible. So, after an open day not long ago, which welcomed around a hundred visitors, the hostess is preparing for the school holidays. This time, it offers half-day courses for small farmers. These are discovery courses for children from eighteen months to five years old, in the morning. For children and adolescents aged six to fifteen, these are immersion courses in the afternoon. These sessions will allow you to experience privileged contact with the 70 animals collected by the association. In addition, a Halloween event for children has been scheduled for Saturday, November 2, in the afternoon. On days when it does not welcome groups, the farm is open to the public and allows for lovely family outings. A shaded picnic area equipped with barbecues has recently been installed. The mini museum of old agricultural tools, adjoining the picnic area, brings additional charm and all these amenities make the Goldilocks farm a pleasant place to visit. The courses take place Saturday 19, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23, Saturday 26, Monday 28 and Wednesday 30 October by reservation.
