The 2025 season will start and there will still be many attractions. Among them, the level of play of Novak Djokovic of course. Some believe it, others doubt it… Everyone has their own opinion. In The Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast, Andrea Petkovicformer number 1 in doubles, gave her opinion on Djokowhich will resume at Brisbane the week of December 30 before turning to theAustralian Open and a potential 11th coronation in Melbourne.

“He will do everything he can to win one of these tournaments, try to get to 25, and then break.”
“My prediction for Novak is that he won't care about tournaments at all, except for the Australian Open and Wimbledon”said Petkovic. “And he's going to make a huge effort with everything he has left in his pretty 40 year old body. He'll do whatever it takes to win one of these tournaments, try to get to 25, and then break. We obviously know that this is the tournament where he plays his best tennis. He has won it 10 times, which is scandalous! The fact that he has won the Australian Open 10 times is simply mind-boggling. The only person in the same category is Rafa, who has won the French Open 14 times. I'm not kidding, if he wins the Australian Open I would like him to stop.” Obviously, Djokovic plans to play at least the whole of 2025 but surprises are never impossible…
