The mayor's good wishes to municipal staff had a particular and somewhat personal taste this year. Indeed, bringing together the town hall employees as every year, Francis Boy first addressed the municipal agent Pierrette Boy who is also his wife. “So my dear… the councilor began before correcting himself: sorry Pierrette Boy, if you would like to come alongside me to celebrate your retirement”.

Because Pierrette and the town hall, Pierrette and her mayor, it’s a story that can be summed up over a 40-year career. As far as Pierrette and her husband are concerned, that’s nobody’s business! “You were hired in 1984 as a service agent for the maintenance of the premises of the school, the town hall, the church, part of the Alaé and the leisure chalets on the edge of the lake. But I would like to point out that Pierrette joined the municipal services the year the kindergarten was created, which gave her additional work.” A bouquet of flowers in one hand, an artist's painting in the other, Pierrette did not hide her joy at being able to enjoy her mayor and husband full time. Élodie, who succeeds him, hopes to find herself in the same place in 40 years.

In the meantime, the dozen or so town hall employees received their small envelope filled with a secret gift that no one wanted to reveal.
