Accident on the A16 near Beauvais: two injured

A shock at the end of a hectic day

The events took place on a portion of the A16 motorway, a major road linking the north of France to the capital. Following this accident, two people, whose identities have not been released, were injured. Emergency services quickly provided them with the necessary care.

Fortunately, the victims' vital prognosis was not in jeopardybut the latter were still transported to a hospital center for additional examinations.

Difficult traffic, gradual return to normal

This accident also caused significant inconvenience for drivers using theA16 motorway. For almost two hours, slow traffic was reported in the Beauvais-Paris direction, forcing the teams on site to manage the flow of vehicles. It was only in the early evening, around 8 p.m., that traffic was able to return to normal.

Lane closures are unfortunately common on this section of the motorway, particularly during school holidays when many users are traveling towards large towns.
