Miss France 2025: Angélique Angarni-Filopon targeted by “hateful comments” online: News

Just elected Miss 2025, Angélique Angarni-Filopon is already the target of hateful comments on social networks. The main interested party and the Miss France Society did not fail to react.

We can never repeat it enough: cyberbullying is a real scourge. The latest personality to have paid the price is Angélique Angarni-Filopon. Barely elected Miss France 2025, the 34-year-old flight attendant suffered a wave of hateful comments online. Frédéric Gilbert, president of the Miss France Society, was moved by this in a press release published on December 20, echoed by BFMTV. “These offensive comments have no place in our competition, nor in our society and will all be reported to the relevant authorities”he explained.

Frédéric Gilbert took the opportunity to remind us that “harassment and cyberharassment are punishable by law”. The president of the Miss France Society was not the only one to react. Miss France 2025 herself made a comeback in an interview broadcast on the Marie Claire website. She notably mentioned the case of three Internet users who featured themselves in a video where one of them ensures that the skin color of Angélique Angarni-Filopon is a “handicap”. “I absolutely do not blame these three young girls but, unfortunately, I will have to make some decisions”replied Miss France.

Hate comments reported

A comment far from isolated. Two days after her election, Miss France gave an interview on Fun Radio's morning show. The host, Bruno Guillon, was moved by the reactions under the posts on the radio's social networks: “It was with shock and pain that I discovered certain hateful comments on our networks against the new Miss France”he reacted on Instagram. And to add: “At a time when we are trying to protect children from cyberbullying, I cannot stand the offensive, even racist, comments on this page.” This is why the host announced that hateful comments will be reported to the competent authorities.
