Real Madrid dominated Sevilla FC at the Santiago Bernabéu with goals from Kylian Mbappé, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo and Brahim for the Madrid side.
Real Madrid starters
Thibaut Courtois (5/10) : Abandoned by Tchouaméni on Seville's first goal and shot by Lukebakio at the end of the match, it was therefore a mixed match for the Belgian goalkeeper, despite a few saves here and a saving post there.
Lucas Vázquez (8/10) : What a performance from Lucas Vázquez! The Madrid soldier signs his best performance of the season, combining intensity and efficiency. Hat !
Aurélien Tchouaméni (4/10) : Nonchalance personified, Tchouaméni was one of the weak points of the evening. The only downside of this victory for Real Madrid: the goal conceded, and he bears the responsibility.
Antonio Rüdiger (6/10) : A clean, no-nonsense performance for the German.
Edward Camavinga (7/10) : Back in a role that he hardly likes, that of emergency left-back, the Frenchman has once again proven that he is by far the best in this position in the Madrid squad.
Dani Ceballos (6/10) : Without being at the top of his form, with some waste in his game, Ceballos was able to bring a positive influence to the Madrid midfield. His role as organizer remains essential.
Federico Valverde (7/10) : Title artificer, target locked, skylight! A superb way for Valverde to end the year 2024 with this magnificent goal.
Jude Bellingham (8/10) : You never tire, Mr. Bellingham? To run, to organize, and above all to do everything to perfection on the field? The Englishman continues to prove that he is an exceptional player, as evidenced once again by his impressive performance today.
Rodrygo (8/10) : Passer and scorer this afternoon, the Brazilian found his best level. Essential offensively for Carlo Ancelotti, he made the game more fluid thanks to his judicious choices and impeccable technique.
Brahim Díaz (8/10) : Enormous defensive work and unfailing generosity in the effort. Hard-hitting with the ball, the Moroccan delivered a very complete performance, with the icing on the cake, a nice little goal, which confirms his importance for Real Madrid, replacement or starter.
Kylian Mbappé (9/10) : From the start, Mbappé struck a big blow with a missile that electrified the Bernabéu and reminded everyone that he is back at his best. Decisive passer in the second half, it's an XXL performance from the Frenchman today. Man of the match.
Coach's note:
Carlo Ancelotti (8/10) : Surprise line-up at kick-off, with Eduardo Camavinga starting at left back, but Real Madrid delivered their best match of the season. The Italian tactician put on a nice show for the madridistas before Christmas, and his choices paid off.
