Doctors are increasing the price of their consultations
Signed between Health Insurance and private doctors, the agreement aims to “fundamentally transform our local health system to maintain its quality and accessibility”. The objective was, among other things, to improve the working conditions of doctors but also to encourage them to set up offices in the city. Among the first measures: the revaluation of consultations.
For a general practitioner, they go from 26.50 euros to 30 euros. For other specialties, the increases will take place in two stages, the first on December 22 and the second on July 1, 2025. The medical gynecologist will therefore go from 33.50 euros to 37 euros on December 22 then to 40 euros in July. For the psychiatrist, the change will be from 51.70 to 55 euros today then 57 euros in July. Will you have to pay more?

What consequences for policyholders?
Policyholders will not have to pay moreit is Health Insurance which covers this increase. But you must take into account the increase in your mutual insurance costs, which is impacted by these increases. As for the pediatrician, the consultation increases to 39 euros for 0 to 2 year olds then to 40 euros in July 2025; 35 euros for 2 to 6 years old and 31.50 euros for those over 6 years old. A follow-up consultation for a child with a general practitioner will cost 35 euros for children under 6 years old. The three compulsory consultations in pediatrics will increase from 47.50 euros to 54 euros in December 2024 then 60 euros in July 2025.

As for child psychiatry, consultations increase from 54.70 euros to 67 euros on December 22 then 75 euros in July. This concerns the youngest, up to the age of 25 (only 16 years old). Geriatric doctors are increasing their prices from 31.50 euros to 37 euros today (and 42 euros next July).
