The Star Academy debrief: “The public in power, yes… but not too much!”

All the more frustrating when we imagine the explosive duel that Marguerite and Franck could have offered during Saturday's bonus. So yes, we are obviously disappointed. Why organize a week focused on the public and then take away their power to vote to save their favorite candidate? A bonus without nominations is a bit like a cake without icing: it lacks flavor.

Fortunately, clear on the board, the production reversed the trend by offering a new surprise: allowing the public to fish out an eliminated candidate. No… It's not a joke. A candidate who is definitely out of the adventure and not qualified for the tour may have a second chance this Saturday. There will therefore not be eight but nine this year for the tour!

A subtle way of confirming what many already think?

Take Maylis for example. Eliminated in the first week, she continues to prove her talent on social networks, captivating a public frustrated to have seen her leave so early. But let's be realistic: Emma and Thomas remain the big favorites in the draft. Without forgetting that the Belgians will still not be able to vote, which further complicates the situation…
