Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest, with 1,147 euros for an order of 1000 liters. As such, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 76 euros for a purchase of 1000 liters.

The current stability of domestic fuel oil prices in France has its origins in the calm which has settled on the international oil markets. After months marked by significant volatility, oil prices are showing relative calm, which has repercussions on derivative products such as fuel oil. This lull results in particular from a temporary balance between supply and demand, supported by positive signals from the main consuming economies, but also by controlled production in major exporting countries.

According to Prixdubaril data, the benchmark indices reflect this stability. North Sea Brent, the main indicator of the European market, trades at $72.97 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI), a benchmark in the United States, stands at $69.46. These levels, although lower than the peaks reached during previous periods of tension, reflect a certain confidence of market players. This peaceful situation limits price variations for French consumers, offering a welcome respite during this winter period when heating needs are increased.
