Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, Mayor of Mennecy and Vice-President of the Île-de-France region.
This award is above all an invitation to make, continue and strengthen my commitment to serving the general interest!
I am very happy to have received this Trombinoscope prize, a prize awarded by an independent jury made up of journalists and which concretizes both my commitment to the ecological transition of development and in favor of those involved in the city and housing.
Above all, it rewards collective work carried out with all the teams around me in the exercise of my missions at the Regional Council and as president of two state public establishments, the EPF and GPA.
This prize is also that of local elected officials, regional councilors of Île-de-France as a whole, because you do not receive a prize for yourself.
I also thank the President, Valérie Pécresse and my colleagues for their trust, in particular during the past two years during which I carried out the SDRIF-Environmental project which sets out the main principles of Ile-de-France development for the 20 years to come.
It is an award that I dedicate to all the teams who support me on a daily basis. I am thinking in particular of my town, Mennecy. This is where my roots are, where I draw my energy and strength necessary for my political commitment.
This is also an encouragement to do!
Particularly at a time when the housing sector, dear to our political family, is going through a violent crisis which is weighing on our entire economy and the quality of life of Ile-de-France residents.
In this period of turbulence, this prize also gives me the opportunity to share a deep conviction: public commitment must retain meaning and it must play a driving, even protective, role for citizens.
It must provide direction and hope.
