Unique Christmas gifts made in Villeneuvois at low prices are possible

Generally, they work in the shadows, without having a well-placed showcase, whether physical or virtual. But for the Christmas holidays, the creative artisans come out of their workshops to offer their creations in full view of passers-by. The editorial staff has made a selection of three addresses whose leitmotif is, not only, the unique piece, but also, originality.

The Lego creations of Alexandre Follain, located on rue Sainte-Catherine.

On the Christmas market, in one of the chalets attached to the market, C de Cha jewelry, labeled eco-responsible, is on display. Charlotte, the designer, lives in Penne and works from home. She exhibits during the summer markets, on the coast, and at Christmas in the country house. The opportunity is therefore quite rare to take a look at its collection with its unusual concept. Charlotte uses what she has on hand to make rings, earrings, bracelets or necklaces. Thus, the flowers from his garden or his old cut-out corks become jewelry once enclosed in resin.

She also uses polymer clay, based on beeswax, and natural pigments, for her solid color line. Charlotte also provides after-sales service to prevent, always in an eco-responsible way, her customers from throwing away their damaged or broken jewelry. Its prices range from 12 to 35 euros on average.

Vintage and pop flowers

A little further away, rue Sainte-Catherine, we find Alexandre Follain, who, for a month, set up shop to sell, in particular, his Lego creations, inspired by retrogaming. These colorful objects, which touch on nostalgia, are on sale for between 20 and 30 euros. Alexandre Follain, passionate about vintage, also offers a multitude of objects, from the 1940s to the 1950s, as new, and exhibits some of the old furniture that he enjoys diverting from its first use.

Olivia offers arrangements or flowers on stems, between 15 and 50 euros.

Finally, for flower lovers who are sad to see them fade in a few days, the solution was found by Olivia and her Flowerpop. Now installed in a 300 m² showroom, at 34 bis rue Jeanne-d'Arc, it offers floral creations, to order or not, bouquets, flowers to stand or illuminated, colorful and with a vintage or refined design. Here too, no flower is the same as the other. Prices start at 15 euros per stem and small potted poppy. Exceptionally, and for the last purchases, Olivia will be open, in addition to its usual hours, on Sunday morning.
