The presents are already under the tree, a few days before Christmas. To be exact, they are mostly at the pump. To support departures on Christmas holidays, Intermarché is offering a new fuel operation at cost price this Friday December 20 and Saturday December 21, 2024.
This initiative makes it possible to slightly reduce the cost of fuel, a welcome help as the price of diesel has risen significantly in recent weeks. The principle is simple: fuel is sold without commercial margin.
The great deal offered by Intermarché
The pump price only includes purchase costs, transport costs, VAT, and oil taxes, which represent approximately 60% of the final price. On average, this reduction equates to a few cents per liter, a little boost that is always welcome for consumers.
Participating stations are listed on this link. For this weekend, no other major retailer has announced similar measures. This week the price of diesel is on average at €1.6416, that of SP 95 – E10 at €1.7160 and that of SP 98 at €1.8202.
