Since 1994, nearly 8,000 portraits have been published. For their 30th anniversary, “Libération” invites you to chat with those who write them, the heads of the service, Virginie Ballet and Luc Le Vaillant from 5 p.m. on Twitch as well as with the photojournalist Frédéric Stucin.

Since its birth in the fall of 1994, the Der de Libé carries one person per day on the back page of the newspaper. A personal portrait, of an anonymous or well-known person, of an activist or a leader, of an individual or a standardized person, of atypical or ultra-normative. For the 30th anniversary of portraits, Libération invites you to rediscover a selection of 30 portraits since December 1st, one per day, like an Advent calendar.
Today, you will be able to chat with those who created and still bring Der to life, the heads of the Portraits department, Luc Le Vaillant and Virginie Ballet in a stream on our Twitch channel from 5 p.m. And since each portrait is always accompanied by a photo, during this discussion, you will then be able to meet the photojournalist Frédéric Stucin from 6 p.m.
The stream will also be available at the top of this article. To participate in the discussion, you will need to log in to the platform.
