He has just published Multidimensional Wine*. Gérard Bertrand, a former professional rugby player, is a lover of his land, Languedoc. In 1987, after the sudden death of his father Georges, he inherited the family property of Villemajou, in Aude.

He lives five kilometers from his birthplace

Although he combined the Ovalie and the vineyard for a few years, it was the land that would end up occupying all his time… He now owns 17 estates, including the one where he is hosting us: Château L’Hospitalet, which is also a 5-star luxury hotel – associated with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain – nestled on the Clape massif, a quarter of an hour from Narbonne.
