What happened to young Lina, aged 15? This is the question that everyone has been asking for a year. On Saturday, September 23, 2023, Lina, a young 15-year-old teenager, disappeared on a road in Bas-Rhin. Around 11 a.m., she left her home to go to the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche train station with the aim of joining her boyfriend Tao for a shopping trip to Strasbourg. 3 kilometers separate her starting point from her arrival point, which is now the place of all the questioning. After only a few minutes of walking, her phone stopped signaling on the said road. And while the investigation was stalling, it took a sad turn this week. Indeed, investigators looked at several suspicious vehicles and Lina’s DNA was found in a car belonging to Samuel G., a forty-year-old from Besançon. But just as the investigation was about to move forward, the main suspect committed suicide on July 10.
On Saturday, September 7, 2024, our colleagues from the local newspaper Dernières nouvelles d’Alsace revealed the progress of the investigation. According to their information, no traces of blood were found in Samuel G’s car. However, “contact DNA” was taken from the seat belt of the right rear passenger seat and “a hairy element”.
