Did the late Queen Elizabeth II had a cell phone before she passed away in 2022 at age 96? The answer is yes, the Queen did own a mobile phone, a royal expert has revealed. She used it primarily to send SMS. However, she was not a technology enthusiast. It was her grandchildren, Prince William and Harry, who taught her a lot. Expert says Queen Elizabeth II “had his own cell phone and helpful grandchildren willing to show him how it worked.” She knew what the term meant “SMS“, but she had trouble understanding the purpose of the apps on her phone.
