Yanis had an affair with Astrid
Jennifer asks Samuel about the investigation regarding Yanis. Samuel informs her that the technical and scientific police (PTS) found blood in the trunk of Yanis’ car. This blood was not Yanis’s, but that of a woman. Jennifer, surprised, turns pale, which Samuel notices. Once Samuel leaves, Jennifer calls Luna to tell her that they have a problem.
The police checked Maya’s alibi, which turned out to be confirmed. Samuel gives Jennifer a number that has called Yanis’ phone a lot; it belongs to a certain Astrid. Patrick then asks Jean-Paul and Samuel to go meet her.
Blanche, Luna, Jennifer and Barbara discuss the investigation. Barbara prefers to do nothing, while Luna wants to know more about the progress of the investigation. Luna then decides to discreetly follow the police.
Samuel and Jean-Paul arrive at Astrid’s, but it’s her sister who opens the door. She tells them that she hasn’t heard from her sister for a week. Astrid was supposed to leave with her partner, who was none other than Yanis. Luna watches the scene from afar. When the police enter Astrid’s, Luna takes a photo of her mailbox and asks Blanche to check the name on it. Blanche discovers that Astrid and her sister organize themed walks in Marseille. She also comes across a photo of Astrid on the Internet, where she poses alongside Yanis.
Luna tells Barbara and Blanche what she learned about Astrid and her sister. She explains that she went to talk to Astrid’s sister, pretending to be a good friend worried about the young woman’s disappearance. Astrid’s sister told her that she had received a message from Yanis giving her a meeting place, and since then, Astrid has not returned to work. Luna plans to go get Yanis’ phone to find out where he had planned to meet Astrid.
The police confirmed that the blood found in Yanis’ car was Astrid’s. Given Yanis’ violent history, it is possible that he had harmed her. Investigators know where Yanis’ phone was last located and decide to go there.
