Friday, September 13, 2024, France 3 and “Des chiffres et des lettres” paid a final tribute to Patrice Laffont in a prime time entitled “Merci Patrice!” presented by a very moved Laurent Romjejko. The opportunity for Bertrand Renard and Arielle Boulin-Prat, but also Sophie Davant and a multitude of figures from France Télévisions, to address a last word to the host who passed away on August 7.

Last May, France 3 decided to interrupt Numbers and lettersafter five years of good and loyal service. But on Friday, September 13, 2024, Laurent Romejko, but also Bertrand Renard and Arielle Boulin-Prat came especially, had made their return to our screens, for an occasion as special as it was moving. A prime time dedicated to Patrice Laffont, who died at the age of 84 this summer, of a heart attack at his home. During the “tribute” show, entitled Thank you Patrice!, Laurent Romejko was particularly touched by this loss. It must be said that Patrice Laffont had hosted the game between 1972 and 1986, and had produced it since 2000, until the last of the show at the beginning of the year.
