The Queen of England had thought of everything. 30 years ago, in 1994, a fund containing £19 million was created by to Queen Elizabeth IIwhen Prince Harry was just ten years old, to be divided among all his grandchildren.

The lucky heirs were to receive the first payment on their 21st birthday and the second on their 40th birthday. Palace sources even claimed that prince harry received a larger amount than William. A former palace adviser spoke to The Times about the money : “A trust fund was set up at the time. It was a way for the Queen Mother to put money aside for when her grandchildren were older and a way to pass on some of her wealth in a tax-efficient way,” he delivered.

How much money will Harry get?

At the age of 21, each brother would have received £6 million, and this amount is set to rise to £8 million by the time they turn 40, which Prince Harry will celebrate next week on September 15.

The beneficiaries of this fund would therefore be Prince William, Prince Harry, but also their cousins, the children of the Princess Royal, Zara and Peter Phillips, the daughters of the Duke of York, Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as the children of Princess Margaret, Viscount Linley and Lady Sarah Chatto.
